Gurkan Gumussuyu

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gurkan Gumussuyu is a distinguished orthopedic and spine surgeon with extensive experience in spinal deformity correction, trauma surgery, and sports medicine. He completed his medical training at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and residency at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital. Dr. Gümüşsuyu is a member of AO Spine and Turkish Spine Society, and has received national recognition for his research in spinal deformity surgery, including the First Prize in Poster Presentation at the Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Congress (2013) for his work on the Modified Elongating Rod Technique in Early-Onset Idiopathic Scoliosis. He currently practices at Liv Hospital Ulus, focusing on spine and sports-related surgeries.

Author and presenter of national orthopedic studies on spine deformity correction and trauma surgery; recipient of the National Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Congress 2013 Poster Award.
