Selman Emiroglu

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selman Emiroglu is a highly experienced breast and general surgeon specializing in oncoplastic and minimally invasive surgery. He has over 15 years of academic and clinical experience at Istanbul University and Biruni University, and actively participates in global breast cancer research projects (NEOSENTITURK and SENATURK). Dr. Emiroğlu’s expertise includes breast-conserving surgery, nipple-sparing mastectomy, axillary lymph node dissection, and laparoscopic procedures. He is also a key contributor to studies on genomic and transcriptomic profiles of chemotherapy-resistant breast cancer.

Author of 30+ peer-reviewed international publications in journals such as JAMA Surgery, World Journal of Surgical Oncology, Clinical Breast Cancer, Annals of Surgical Oncology, and Frontiers in Oncology; contributor to Breast Cancer Diagnosis–Treatment–Tracking (Nobel Medical Books, 2020); speaker at San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium and St. Gallen International Breast Cancer Conference.
