Gokhan Meric

Prof. Dr. Gokhan Meric is a leading orthopaedic surgeon specialising in advanced joint replacement, cartilage repair and biologic therapies. Born in Manisa-Akhisar in 1980, he graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine (2004) and completed his orthopaedics & traumatology specialty at Dokuz Eylül University (2010). He has trained abroad at Scripps Clinic in San Diego and La Jolla (USA) in cartilage surgery, allograft techniques and sports surgery. He currently serves as Head of the Department of Orthopedics & Traumatology at Yeditepe University and is recognised for integrating stem cell and regenerative treatments in joint repair.
