Halil Ibrahim Canter

Prof. Dr. Halil Ibrahim Canter is one of Turkey’s leading plastic, reconstructive, and cranio-maxillofacial surgeons, internationally recognized for his innovative use of stem cells in reconstructive surgery and tissue engineering. With over 30 years of academic and surgical experience, Prof. Canter has published more than 70 international SCI-indexed articles and has received numerous national and international awards for pioneering research on bone and skin regeneration using adipose-derived stem cells. His work bridges classic reconstructive surgery and regenerative medicine, advancing techniques in craniofacial reconstruction, microsurgery, and complex congenital anomaly repair.

Author of over 70 international and 10 Turkish scientific articles; 2 book chapters in major textbooks (Estetik Plastik ve Rekonstrüktif Cerrahi, Güneş Tıp Kitapevi 2007; Cleft Lip Palate, Atlas Kitapçılık 2015).
