Biography

Prof. Dr. Merdan Fayda is a distinguished radiation oncologist with over 25 years of academic and clinical experience. He specializes in advanced radiotherapy technologies, including stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), IMRT, 4D adaptive therapy, and MR-Linac. His expertise covers the treatment of breast, gynecologic, brain, and gastrointestinal cancers. Prof. Fayda completed international training at the University of North Carolina (USA) in thoracic oncology and stereotactic radiotherapy and has published numerous scientific articles in international journals. He currently practices at Liv Hospital Ulus and serves as an Associate Professor at the Istanbul University Oncology Institute.
