
Prof. Dr. Mete Karatay is an internationally trained neurosurgeon specialising in complex brain and spinal surgeries, paediatric neurosurgery, and advanced neurostimulation therapies. After completing his medical training in Turkey, he completed an observership at Johns Hopkins University, Department of Neurosurgery under Prof. Ziya L. Gökaslan. His professional experience spans over two decades in leading academic and research hospitals, with expertise in brain tumors, spine deformities, functional neurosurgery (DBS & VNS) and regenerative neuro-treatments.
