Ozan Ozkaya

Prof. Dr. Ozan Ozkaya is a distinguished pediatric nephrologist and rheumatologist with more than 25 years of experience in academic and clinical practice. He graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine (1992), specialised in Pediatrics (Gazi University, 1998), completed subspecialisation in Pediatric Nephrology (Gazi University, 2002) and Pediatric Rheumatology (2011). Former Head of the Departments of Pediatric Nephrology & Rheumatology at Ondokuz Mayıs University and responsible for training and education leadership in major Turkish training hospitals. His scholarly work includes 95+ international articles, over 2,500 citations, and involvement in multicentre paediatric renal and rheumatologic research. His clinical focus includes complex kidney and rheumatic diseases in children—especially congenital urinary anomalies, nephrotic syndrome, kidney transplantation in children, FMF and autoinflammatory diseases.
