Prof. Dr. Volkan Tuğcu is one of Turkey’s most accomplished urologists and robotic surgeons, with extensive experience in uro-oncology, kidney transplantation, and minimally invasive surgery. Having performed over 2500 robotic operations, he is recognized internationally for his pioneering techniques in robotic kidney transplant and prostate cancer surgery. Dr. Tuğcu previously chaired the Department of Urology at the University of Health Sciences Istanbul, where he trained dozens of urologists. He currently practices at Liv Hospital Vadistanbul, combining advanced technology with academic precision to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Over 80 national and international scientific publications in uro-oncology, robotic surgery, and kidney transplantation, presented at EAU and AUA congresses. Author of several book chapters on robotic prostatectomy and minimally invasive urology.
